Box Tops for Education and a Walmart Gift Card Give-Away!!!

When I was contacted by MyBlogSpark and selected to receive a $25 Walmart gift card to use to purchase my favorite participating Box Tops items, I was excited about the freedom to purchase items of my choice.  Since I live in the land of doubles and often find things FREE or very close to cheap, I don't find Walmart to be the best bargain in the overall scheme of things.  So, I came up with a plan!
I headed over to a few websites that offer coupons for BoxTops items.

I printed out some coupons I thought I might use and headed to Walmart.
I spent a little while checking out prices and decided on some Juicy Juice and Gogurts.  Finding deals on juice is hit or miss and my kids love Gogurt, so I thought that would be a nice treat for them.

(4) Juicy Juice bottles @ $2.36 = $9.44
(1) Gogurt @ $2.25 = $2.25
Total before Qs = $11.69
- (1) $2/4 Juicy Juice IP
Total Spent on Giftcard = $9.69

The Box Tops for Education program is an easy solution and this year Walmart is making it even easier! From Aug. 3 - Aug. 31, head over to your local Walmart to find 4 Box Tops on participating General Mills products and earn more cash for the participating school of your choice. As your one-stop destination for all your needs this back-to-school season, Walmart is helping you save more and earn more with the Box Tops for Education brands you love.
With over 20 great brands and more than 40 products participating, here are just a few favorites that include 4 Box Tops that you can find at Walmart this August: Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, Pillsbury Toaster Strudel pastries, Trix Yogurt, Hamburger Helper skillet meals, Totino’s Pizza Rolls snacks, Nature Valley Granola Bars and Betty Crocker Fruit Roll-Ups snacks. Be sure to keep an eye out for Box Tops on great products from Kleenex, Ziploc, and Hefty too!

General Mills and MyBlogSpark are also offering one lucky reader the chance to win a $25 Walmart Giftcard.

To enter leave a comment sharing your favorite Box Tops Items.

You can receive an additional entry by Following Frugality in the Hudson Valley and leaving a comment letting me know you do so!

Don't forget to include your email, so I may contact you!

This contest will end on August 28th at 11am EDT. The winner will be selected by random.org and contacted via email and must respond by August 29th 11am EDT or a new winner will be selected.

The gift card, information, and giveaway have been provided from General Mills through MyBlogSpark.
All opinons are my own.
